 Go figure

Today, some Americans marched peacefully complaining about the Iraq conflict, unafraid as free people, to express their objections.
Elsewhere today, hundreds of Iranians rioted, protesting their lack of freedom.
Risking punishment, they shouted 'Death' to the Iranian President who rules with iron fist.
As expected, they were cruelly subdued.
All last week Tibetans rioted in objection to the Chinese government which is destroying the Tibetan culture as well as that country's freedom. The Chinese government quickly punished them.
China has controlled Tibet since 1950.
Long subdued, growing numbers of people in Iran and Tibet are finally breaking the chains of fear to bravely voice their objections to dictatorial government control.
All of this adds up to a fascinating series of events.
Where will it all lead?

Did Obama's outstanding oratory obliterate objections ?

Today he made an attempt to restore his image, damaged by media reports of his longtime trust in an American-hating, ranting, minister of his church.
Obama's well-chosen words were designed to convince voters that his minister, mentor and friend was not really like what all could plainly see in widely broadcast filmed speeches.
It's hard to believe that voters will trust in Obama's oratorical version of what they've seen for themselves.
How could Americans trust such a candidate to serve as President of the United States?
